- To Start using Vocab

- To start using Vocab, just double-click its icon.

- For information on any feature, try Balloon Help. If you want a detailed
- walkthrough or indepth information on Vocab’s features, look in the User’s
- Guide (in the same folder as Vocab.) You can get quick access to the User’s
- Guide from the Help menu in Vocab.

- Important: Before running Vocab, read and agree to the Agreement at the
- bottom of this document.

- Vocab is Shareware
-
- Vocab is shareware. Registration is cheap - only $18US. You can register
- online at http://order.kagi.com/?UE9&S (or http://order.kagi.com/?UE9 for
- non-SSL Secure version) or use the Register program to generate a payment
- form. For more information, see the How To Register section of this document.

- Registration to Vocab includes registration to future Vocab releases, and
- other ‘Cab software products such as Vocab Scheduler.

- After 30 days, if you haven't registered, you won't be able to save word
- lists longer than 25 words, and will no longer be able to generate new lists
- from problem words.

- Distributing Vocab
-
- Vocab is shareware. This means unregistered copies can be freely
- distributed, providing Vocab is distributed unmodified and the distribution
- includes this document, the User's Guide and the Register program. We
- encourage you to distribute unregistered copies of Vocab as widely as possible.

- Vocab may be distributed via any electronic or physical means. If you are
- distributing it on a CDROM or similar, or placing it on a large internet site, I
- would appreciate an email to tell me about it.

- Registration codes may not be distributed.

- How To Register
-
- Registering Vocab is easy:
-
- Online registration is at http://order.kagi.com/?UE9&S for the SSL Secure
- version, or http://order.kagi.com/?UE9 for the unsecure version.
-
- Otherwise, use the Register program that came with Vocab to generate a
- payment form and send it to Kagi, who handles payments for Vocab.
-
- To use Register, just open it in the Finder and enter your details. Payments
- can be made by credit card, cash, First Virtual, Check, Money Order or
- Invoice.

- Credit card or First Virtual payment forms can be emailed or faxed. Email
- them to sales@kagi.com or fax to +1 510 652-6589. You can email forms by
- pressing Copy in Register, and then pasting into an email program, or
- pressing Save and then attaching the payment document to an email. Email
- payments are processed in 3 to 4 days. Fax payments take up to 10 days.

- If you are paying with Cash or USD Check you should print the data using the
- Register application and send it to the address shown on the form, which is:

- You can pay with a wide variety of cash from different countries but at
- present, if you pay via check, it must be a check drawn in US Dollars. Kagi
- cannot accept checks in other currencies.

- Please do not fax or email payment forms that indicate Cash, Check or
- Invoice as the payment method.

- Payments sent via postal mail take time to reach Kagi and then up to 10
- days for processing.

- After your payment has been processed you will receive an email from Kagi,
- if you provided an email address. Otherwise you will receive a postcard
- receipt. In your email or receipt will be your personal registration code for
- Vocab. To use this code, choose About Vocab from the Apple menu and then
- click on Register. Make sure the name you enter is identical to the name you
- put on your payment form. Do not distribute your registration code.

- Definitions of Site License

- A Site License allows anyone located at the specified location of the purchasing organization
- (as agreed) to register Vocab and use a registered copy of Vocab on computer systems belonging to
- that organization and located at that location. A site license for Vocab costs $150US
